VT's use of personal pronouns =/= compelling others to use them

I don't care how others use pronouns, and I'm happy to try and use the one they want (I may forget if they resemble one I am use to calling by different pronouns and I don't know them well), Feel free to introduce yourself however you would like. But do not compel others to do like you, isn't compelling people to act a certain way kinda the point that brought this up?

And yes this happened to a freshman relative of mine during VT orientation.
